United Against Hatred - 11/24 @ 5:30pm

United Against Hatred: In Memory of Marcelo Lucero, SAC Auditorium, Monday, 11/24 at 5:30 p.m.
To: All Faculty, Staff and Students

The shocking murder of Patchogue resident Marcelo Lucero on November 8 should remind us that we must work tirelessly to ensure that our Long Island and Stony Brook communities promote respectfulness, safety, and inclusiveness. Please join us for a vigil on Monday evening to show that we here at Stony Brook are united against hatred and violence.

Let us gather on Monday, November 24 at 5:30 p.m. in the SAC Auditorium and join our campus chaplains, representatives of the Suffolk County Human Rights Commission and our Latin American Student Organization to honor the memory of Mr. Lucero by rededicating ourselves to be positive forces of peace and justice.

President
